Frieze 4 was part of the friezes I made as giant concertina books in January at Sturt.
i felt that the beginning of the frieze was different to the end – not enough dark bits. There is certainly coherence from page to page but not along the length of it. This is partly because i worked on them a page at a time, and my original intention was not to make them work as a single art work for display. But i think it’s a useful exercise to have that be possible.
