This is part of the kimonopoly series, but it evolved from a map I made when I had a little leftover paint. I like that it’s got a weird horizon line, and the kimono patterns and the monopoly board were all drawn with masking fluid, which makes them more scrawly and unpredictable.
I love that.
Reminds me a little of the kind of scribble you see in Dubuffet’s works (love his stuff).
