I spent a few hours at Cathie’s yesterday. Tried to do an “inspired” piece, using a Brett Whiteley piece, but it felt too constraining.
So I made some offcut inspired ones.
And continuing the series of “using up what i have kept aside for collaging one day”.
Today’s collages had a kind of nautical theme to them. it’s funny how my unconscious mind brings forward images – there’s a mermaid, an ocean liner, a swimmer (well at least in my mind’s eye).
Having seen (and enjoyed) mary poppins 3 times in the last few weeks her umbrella keeps coming up too.
