This time a quiz about whether you are brave enough to be beautiful.
i am unfamiliar with modern quizzes (no doubt online or in social media), but there’s something a little off about all of these questions and the answers to them. I am the product of them, however, and some of them are message I received, consciously or not, from my mother. As I am now 60 years old I’m still making judgements about people and their confidence and beauty based on some of these things, however.
it’s not good, but it is interesting.
I DO love the drawings of handbags and shoes – I love this style (maybe I should try doing some myself?). Saw it notably in the images from Warhol’s advertising days, and in 101 Dalmatians animation.
So this book is both detestable and adorable. And topped off with how to put on your lipstick (fundamentals I am still struggling with, and watch endless youtubes about!).
