Say anything, just justify it

Cindy Tonkin - October 2, 2026

Will Hines’ wisdom and collected ideas please me greatly in this post about justifying – and justifying why to justify. It’s the antidote to a lot of silliness and a lot of retelling of the story we heard in the monologue behaviour and those are two things I really hate!

Bottom line is if you say something ridiculous and show or tell us that it’s got a deeper meaning the audience will like it more, and your fellow improvisers will also love you more.
