When I’ve been away from making for a while I sometimes just pull out some old magazine pages and some A4 paper and play with no consequences.
I have really enjoyed playing with this series, which began as tea with old masters, and morphed into people with animal heads drinking tea. I even have folders in a box marked “Food”, “People” and “Animals”. Sometimes I think up playful Famous Five style names / subtitles for them.
The Dinner Party theme grew from this one.
