I’ve been slowing down on the art in the past few months. first i was ill, then i started building furniture.
First i rebuilt / organised my bed. I don’t think i’ve posted about it.
But the thing I’m most proud of at the moment is the sofa I have built.
You’ll see the inspiration image below, and then some in progress shots.
I have not completed, but for now it’s done (i’m planning an overseas trip). At some point in the future I’ll add the side tables/arms. I had someone coming to stay and had to bring this to enough of a completion to sit on.
In the works then:
- add arms
- cover the mattress (that’s a sheet right now)
- maybe increase the height?
