This is a sub category of altered books, but i’ve been doing so many of late i thought it needed its own theme page.
I find board books in the street. Or in the early days I probably bought them in a St Vincent de Paul.
I like them because they are self-contained, I can take a book, pages prepared or not, away for the weekend, to Cathie’s to play with, or wherever I’m going. Just needs acrylic markers or sharpies and a liquid ink pen. And of course always glue stick.
They are also deeply satisfying with endorphin hits for every page and for the quickly-completed short book.
