So I did something I considered impossible.
Why I thought it impossible is not clear to me; In the end it required a lot of drilling (more than 9 hours). It required a kit from Bunnings (two of them, because the first one was not strong enough.
Here are the in progress shots, and the final one.
The things that’s important about this is that it was really something I thought I’d have to pay someone to do. Thank god for my brother Mitch, who told me to get a bunnings kit, and it was easy. Well, time-consuming, but easy.
I have some finishing to do, as my chiseling / use of the multi-tool isn’t so steady or predictable. But I have put a tiny Canaletto inside the lock (the image just shows something green inside of it. It’s a gift for me, that is.
And I wonder what else I’ve been telling myself is impossible for me, but really isn’t?
