Inkblots 2005

Cindy Tonkin - August 3, 2006

So Adrienne Crouch had given us an exercise where we threw ink on paper and then washed it off.

When she moved to Scone (or places cheaper than Sydney) around 2005, I was carrying a piece to the car to go to art with Anna and Margaret and Pip and Cathie and Tim, maybe, and was worried the rain would damage them. This reminded me that nothing is so precious, and I started a series I called inkblots, where i threw ink on paper and made stuff from it.

I exhibited it mostly at Newtown RSL.

Here are the lot of them, uploaded in 2023, to denude the hard drive of my PC.
