I based today’s collages on a photo I took by Lake Como in 2007 or so. We spent 2 weeks in a house overlooking the lake. Whenever I’m on holidays I like to take photos of people in groups – people just hanging out like these ones, or groups posing for photos.
This one was just 4 friends out drinking by the lake.
The image is below, along with a couple of other ones done with the offcuts. The Charlie Parker sax music cover takes a little inspiration from the Lautrec I did a few weeks ago. I picked up some sheet music on freecycle last week, and this was something I won’t play on my piano, so it was ripe for reuse. I like the lime and black.
