This is a book I made in a class with Caren Florance at Sturt in 2009. It’s one of the few times that I actually stitched a proper book with coptic binding.
Also the box is a clamshell box, which I’m quite proud of. The button on the spine is from a coat I loved. And more than anything I loved the big button!
The materials inside the book are fabric swatches gifted to me from someone in the class at the time. Not sure where the pale green papers came from.
I gave the book to my friend Jane as a birthday gift today, so I’m recording it here.
